Fabspeed McLaren 720S Supersport X-Pipe Exhaust

The Fabspeed McLaren 720S Supersport X-Pipe Exhaust System is a high-flow cat-back exhaust developed specifically for the McLaren 720S Coupe and Spider, combining optimized exhaust flow with a more pronounced exotic V8 soundtrack.

The system fits all McLaren 720S Coupe and Spider models worldwide from 2018 onward and replaces the heavy and restrictive factory muffler system while retaining the factory catalytic converters.

Fabspeed developed the Supersport X-Pipe using CAD and SolidWorks flow analysis to optimize the exhaust path and improve flow characteristics. The X-Pipe design is engineered to provide smoother exhaust flow while creating a more exotic and high-pitched sound from the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8.

The system is fabricated from 3-inch (76 mm) T304L stainless steel, with TIG-welded and laser-welded construction. V-band flange connections provide precise alignment with the factory components and support a clean OEM-style installation.

Fabspeed lists a weight reduction of approximately 10 lb compared with the factory system. HP and torque figures are currently listed as TBA by the manufacturer, so no specific power increase is claimed here.

The Supersport X-Pipe produces a more aggressive and higher-pitched exotic sports-car character while maintaining the practicality of a cat-back configuration. Because the OEM catalytic converters remain in place, Fabspeed states that the system does not alter the vehicle's emissions configuration.
