Eventuri Audi S1 2.0 TFSI Intake System

Eventuri Audi S1 2.0 TFSI Intake System is a high-performance intake system developed specifically for the Audi S1, designed to create a more efficient and direct airflow path from the air filter to the turbocharger.

Unlike a conventional cone-filter intake, Eventuri replaces the factory airbox with its Patent Pending Carbon Fiber Venturi Housing. The housing surrounds the reverse-mounted high-flow filter and progressively shapes the airflow toward the turbo inlet, helping maintain smoother, more laminar airflow while accelerating the air through the intake path.

The factory airbox uses a cuboid shape before transitioning from the rectangular air filter to the round turbo inlet. According to Eventuri, this change in geometry can introduce turbulence and increase drag on the turbocharger. The Venturi housing addresses this transition by providing a smoother reduction in cross-sectional area, creating a Venturi Effect that helps optimize airflow efficiency.

The system uses a Generation 2 High-Flow Air Filter together with an Aluminium Cowl, which provides a smooth entry into the carbon housing. The reverse-mounted filter and carbon housing work together to create a more controlled velocity profile as air moves toward the turbocharger.

Another key feature is the dedicated Cold Air Feed. Eventuri replaces the factory rubber ducting with a Laser-Cut Intake Duct that channels ambient air directly toward the filter housing while helping isolate the intake from hot air within the engine bay.

At the front of the system, an Aluminium Intake Scoop sits behind the grille and directs ambient air into the intake duct. When the vehicle is moving, the scoop helps force fresh ambient air into the duct, reducing the amount of hot engine-bay air entering the intake and shortening the effective inlet path to the filter housing.

Eventuri's performance testing was conducted using a Golf 7 R with the same engine as the Audi S1, with an existing remap in place. Both the factory airbox and Eventuri intake were tested back-to-back on the same day with the bonnet closed, allowing the intake system itself to be evaluated under consistent conditions.

The complete Audi S1 intake system combines the Prepreg Carbon Fiber Venturi Housing, Generation 2 High-Flow Air Filter, Aluminium Cowl, Laser-Cut Intake Duct, Cold Air Scoop and Laser-Cut Stainless Steel Brackets into one integrated system.

For the Audi S1 2.0 TFSI, this Eventuri intake focuses on improving the quality and efficiency of airflow to the turbocharger rather than simply increasing filter size. The combination of Venturi airflow management, carbon construction and dedicated cold-air supply makes it a complete performance-oriented upgrade for the S1.
