Eventuri BMW E9X M3 Carbon Plenum

Eventuri BMW E9X M3 Carbon Plenum is a premium carbon fiber replacement for the factory plastic plenum on the BMW E90, E92 and E93 M3, featuring a complete 100% Prepreg Carbon Fiber construction including the internal trumpets.

Designed specifically for the naturally aspirated BMW S65 V8, the Eventuri Carbon Plenum focuses on transforming the engine's induction character rather than chasing additional peak power. Eventuri confirms that the Carbon Plenum itself does not provide a performance gain, but significantly enhances the induction sound and overall driving experience.

One of the key engineering considerations was maintaining the factory trumpet length and internal volume. BMW tuned these dimensions as part of the S65's intake system, and changing them could negatively affect power delivery. Eventuri therefore retained the OEM-specification dimensions to preserve the engine's original characteristics while using different carbon fiber thicknesses to fine-tune the acoustic properties of the plenum.

The result is a much more pronounced naturally aspirated V8 induction sound, with Eventuri describing the character as having an almost CSL-like quality. The increased induction volume and tone become particularly noticeable as the S65 V8 climbs through the rev range, adding a more immersive connection between throttle input and engine sound.

The plenum is constructed from 100% Prepreg Carbon Fiber, including the base, lid and eight internal carbon trumpets. The system also incorporates eight CNC-machined aluminum flanges, a CNC-machined temperature sensor boss and a CNC-machined breather boss for precise integration with the factory components.

Eventuri has paid particular attention to OEM-style fitment. The precision-machined flanges allow the plenum to locate correctly, while the CNC-machined temperature sensor boss provides an accurate and secure mounting point for the sensor, replicating the fit and functionality expected from the factory component.

The BMW E9X M3 Carbon Plenum can be used with the OEM airbox or aftermarket intake systems, making it suitable for both owners looking for a standalone carbon upgrade and those building a complete Eventuri E9X M3 intake setup.
