Fabspeed Acura NSX TT / Type S Sport Catalytic Converters are a direct-replacement performance upgrade for the 2017–2022 Acura NSX Twin-Turbo and Type S. The system replaces the factory catalytic converters with four high-flow catted pipes designed to improve exhaust flow and reduce weight.

The system uses HJS German-imported 200-cell Tri-Metallic High-Flow Catalytic Converters, selected by Fabspeed for high-flow performance while retaining catalytic emissions-scrubbing capability. Fabspeed states that the HJS cores flow approximately 93% of a straight pipe.

Fabspeed's dyno testing recorded gains of +27 HP and +17 TQ, together with a 21 lb (9 kg) weight reduction compared with the four OEM NSX catalytic converters. These figures come from a specific test vehicle and conditions, so actual results may vary depending on the vehicle and setup.

The four replacement pipes are precision manufactured with 321 Stainless Steel Flex Bellows and CNC-machined flanges. The design also incorporates provisions for the factory primary catalyst heat shielding and secondary catalyst bypass shielding.

The Sport Catalytic Converters are supplied with all required hardware and gaskets and are designed to work with the OEM heat shields. Installation is a direct-replacement bolt-on application, although Fabspeed's installation procedure requires removal of several surrounding components to access the factory catalytic converters.

The system is engineered to produce a more aggressive sports-car character with more pronounced turbo spool while improving exhaust flow compared with the restrictive OEM ceramic catalytic converters.
