CSF #8032 Race-Spec Dual-Pass Oil Cooler is a high-performance engine oil cooling upgrade developed for the BMW E46 M3 with the S54 3.2L inline-six engine. It was developed in collaboration with BMW M3 tuning specialist Rogue Engineering for demanding street and track applications.
The #8032 replaces the factory Single-Pass oil cooler with a unique Top/Bottom Dual-Pass design, increasing the available cooling surface area and improving oil flow through the cooler. The CSF unit has a volume of 243 cubic inches, compared with 103 cubic inches for the OEM cooler—more than twice the factory volume.
CSF uses a heavy-duty Bar & Plate construction with an 8-row core and high-density multi-louvered fins. This design provides a more robust solution than the OEM Tube & Fin construction, particularly for vehicles exposed to road debris and high-speed track use.
The cooler features fully TIG-welded extruded end tanks for increased durability and reliability, while the turbulated Bar & Plate core is designed to maximize heat dissipation under demanding operating conditions.
The #8032 is engineered as a Drop-In Fit, retaining the factory oil-line connections and mounting configuration. It can be installed without vehicle modifications and is designed to work with the OEM radiator brackets or CSF's E46 M3 High-Performance Radiator #7058.
The cooler also follows the contour of the OEM bumper, helping maintain clearance for aftermarket splitter installations. Its Motorsport Silver finish complements the performance-focused construction.
The CSF #8032 is specified for the BMW E46 M3 from 2001–2006 and replaces OEM oil cooler part number 17212228942.
For E46 M3 owners who regularly drive on track or push the S54 hard, the #8032 provides a substantial upgrade in oil-cooling capacity while maintaining a direct-fit installation within the factory cooling layout.
