Fabspeed Porsche 992 GT3 RENNKRAFT HJS Sport Cat Headers

The Fabspeed Porsche 992 GT3 RENNKRAFT™ Modular Street and Racing Headers with HJS Catalytic Converters (2022+) are performance headers developed for the Porsche 992 GT3 and GT3 RS, combining street-oriented emissions equipment with a modular configuration designed for closed-course racing.

The patented RENNKRAFT® modular design uses a quick-release V-band connection, allowing the HJS catalytic converter section to be exchanged for Fabspeed QUICKTRACK™ link pipes when the vehicle is being prepared for track-only use.

For the street configuration, the system uses German-made EMITEC HJS HD tri-metallic 200-cell Euro 6 homologated catalytic converters. Fabspeed developed the system using 3D laser scans of the OEM headers to achieve precise bolt-on fitment.

Fabspeed's dyno development recorded a gain of 19 hp and 20 ft-lb of torque at the crank with the HJS Sport Cats. With the cat-bypass configuration, the tested gain increased to 23 hp and 26 ft-lb, making the two configurations suitable for different performance requirements.

The headers feature F1-style high-velocity triangular merge collectors with merge spikes, optimized header dimensions and CNC mandrel-bent T304L stainless steel tubing. Precision investment-cast inlet flanges and CNC-designed flanges provide additional structural strength and accurate fitment.

The HJS Sport Cat configuration gives the naturally aspirated flat-six a more aggressive, CUP-inspired exhaust character, with more defined high-frequency tones and stronger deceleration burbles. The QUICKTRACK™ cat-bypass configuration produces a significantly more race-focused sound and is intended for closed-course competition only.

The system reduces approximately 2.7 kg compared with the factory headers and is designed as a bolt-on installation with no cutting or welding required. Fabspeed also states that the modular design allows the HJS catalytic converters to be replaced individually when required.

For the 2022+ Porsche 992 GT3, the RENNKRAFT™ headers provide a versatile upgrade that combines HJS 200-cell Sport Cats for street-oriented use with a modular path to track-focused configuration.
