Fabspeed Porsche 992 GT3 Supercup Cat-Back Exhaust

The Fabspeed Porsche 992 GT3 Supercup Cat-Back Exhaust System (2022+) is a high-performance non-valved cat-back exhaust developed for the Porsche 992 GT3, designed to bring a more aggressive motorsport-inspired character to its high-revving 4.0-litre naturally aspirated flat-six.

The system uses a signature 70 mm investment-cast X-pipe to connect the two cylinder banks, helping optimize exhaust flow, equalize exhaust pulses and improve exhaust scavenging. Fabspeed developed the system through multiple iterations of in-house dyno testing to optimize performance across the rev range.

Fabspeed lists a maximum gain of 21 hp for the Supercup system. The exhaust also reduces approximately 7.2 kg compared with the stock/OEM muffler, helping reduce weight at the rear of the vehicle.

The non-valved configuration is designed to give the naturally aspirated 4.0-litre flat-six a sharper, higher-pitched RSR Cup-inspired exhaust note. Fabspeed specifically developed the system to provide a stronger motorsport character without introducing unwanted interior drone.

Construction combines mandrel-bent T304L stainless steel with titanium investment-cast inlet pipes and a precision-engineered X-pipe. Multiple exhaust-tip finishes are available, including matte carbon fibre, polished stainless steel and brushed stainless steel.

The system is designed using 3D laser scanning and CAD development for precise OEM-style fitment. Fabspeed describes the installation as a bolt-on upgrade and supplies electronic valve simulators to prevent a Check Engine Light associated with the removal of the factory exhaust valves.
