Capristo Ferrari 488 200 Cell Sports Cats

The Capristo Ferrari 488 Sports Cats 200 Cell (with Heat Blankets) are high-performance catalytic converters developed for the Ferrari 488 GTB/GTS, designed to reduce exhaust restriction while maintaining catalytic converter functionality.

The system uses a 200-cell catalytic substrate, providing a less restrictive exhaust path compared with the higher-cell-density OEM catalytic converters. This design supports improved exhaust gas flow and complements a performance-oriented exhaust setup.

The Sports Cats are manufactured from heat-resistant 1.4828 stainless steel, the same high-grade material Capristo uses for its Ferrari 488 exhaust components. The components are TIG welded and finished to Capristo’s high manufacturing standards.

This version includes Heat Protection / Heat Blankets, designed to help reduce radiant heat from the catalytic converters and protect surrounding components within the engine bay.

The 200 Cell Sports Cats are designed to work with the OEM muffler and are also compatible with the Capristo exhaust system according to the selected configuration.

As with performance catalytic converters, ECU programming may be required, and installation can result in a Check Engine Light depending on the vehicle’s ECU calibration and configuration.
