Capristo Mercedes-AMG C43 S205 Valved Exhaust CES3

Upgrade the exhaust system of your Mercedes-AMG C43 S205 with the Capristo Valved Exhaust and Mid-Pipe (CES3), engineered to deliver a more aggressive exhaust character while retaining greater control over sound for everyday driving.

The system is designed for the C43 AMG S205 and is available across Sedan, Wagon, Coupe and Convertible applications. Capristo states that the system uses its proprietary valves, a reinforced construction designed to reduce unwanted resonance, and a dedicated CES3 Control Module for exhaust valve management.

The vacuum-actuated valves allow the exhaust character to change according to driving conditions and driver preference. With the valves closed, the system provides a more subdued exhaust note suitable for cruising, while opening the valves delivers a significantly more aggressive and pronounced sound under acceleration. The CES3 controller provides Cruise, Sport and Open modes with programmable valve-opening behavior.

Capristo manufactures the system from high-grade T309 (1.4828) stainless steel, with components TIG welded by hand and polished after welding. The system is also designed to use the vehicle's existing OEM mounting points for installation.

For the Mercedes-AMG C43 S205, the combination of Valved Exhaust and Mid-Pipe gives the 3.0L V6 Biturbo a stronger and more distinctive soundtrack, while the programmable valve control allows the exhaust character to be tailored to different driving situations.

Capristo confirms that this C43 S205 system has ECE approval for specified vehicle types, but it is not suitable for vehicles equipped with OPF. Vehicle specification should therefore be checked before ordering.
