iPE Mercedes-AMG A45 A45S W177 Valvetronic Exhaust

iPE Mercedes-AMG A45 / A45S (W177) Exhaust System is a high-performance Valvetronic Exhaust System developed specifically for the Mercedes-AMG A45 and A45S W177, covering models from 2020–Present. The system is manufactured from Stainless Steel and is available for both OPF and Non-OPF configurations.

Designed for the latest generation of Mercedes-AMG's 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder platform, the iPE exhaust system focuses on transforming the exhaust character of the A45 and A45S while maintaining flexibility for everyday driving. The system is engineered specifically for the W177 platform, with iPE stating that its components are developed and manufactured in-house.

The key feature is iPE's Valvetronic Exhaust System, which allows the driver to control the exhaust valves and change the sound character according to driving conditions. With the valves open, the system produces a significantly louder and more aggressive exhaust note, while the valves can be closed for a quieter character during normal driving and cruising.

According to iPE, the system can deliver a sound increase of more than 15 dB under the same driving mode comparison, while still maintaining a quiet character in normal mode. This gives the A45/A45S a much more pronounced performance-oriented exhaust sound without requiring the car to remain loud at all times.

The system is available for both OPF and Non-OPF vehicles.
