iPE Nissan GT-R R35 Valvetronic Exhaust System

iPE Nissan GT-R (R35) Exhaust System is a high-performance Valvetronic Exhaust System developed specifically for the legendary Nissan GT-R R35 and its VR38DETT 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 engine. The system is designed to optimize exhaust gas flow, improve throttle response and deliver a more distinctive performance-oriented exhaust character. iPE lists the application for 2007–Present.

According to iPE's published testing, the exhaust system delivers an increase of up to 31.39 HP and 55.86 Nm of torque. The improved exhaust flow contributes to sharper throttle response and a smoother power delivery throughout the rev range, allowing the VR38DETT engine to make better use of its performance potential.

The system is handcrafted from T304 Stainless Steel, combining strength and durability with a significant reduction in weight. iPE states that the system reduces exhaust weight by 5.1 kg, or 17%, compared with the original exhaust system.

A major feature of the system is the iPE Valvetronic System, which allows the driver to adjust the exhaust note according to driving conditions. The valve system can be controlled using the Remote Control System, while an OBD II Hand Gesture Control Sensor is also available as an optional control solution. This allows the GT-R R35 to switch between a more aggressive exhaust character for spirited driving and a more refined sound for everyday use.

The iPE system is designed to bring out the distinctive character of the VR38DETT engine, producing a deeper, louder and more aggressive exhaust sound while maintaining a controlled character without excessive drone. The combination of improved exhaust flow and valve-controlled sound makes the system suitable for both performance driving and road use.

For customers looking for a complete performance configuration, iPE offers optional 200 Cell Downpipes or Catless Downpipes. The Catback section consists of the Front Pipe, Mid Pipe, Valvetronic Muffler and Exhaust Tips, allowing the system to be configured according to the vehicle's intended use and performance setup.

The standard system is supplied with Chrome Silver Exhaust Tips, while optional finishes include Chrome Black, Titanium Gold and Titanium Blue. These options allow the rear appearance of the GT-R R35 to be further customized to match the vehicle's overall specification.
