iPE Porsche 911 Carrera S 4S GTS 991.2 Exhaust

iPE Porsche 911 Carrera S / 4S / GTS / 4 GTS (991.2) Exhaust System is a high-performance Valvetronic Exhaust System developed specifically for the Porsche 911 991.2 series, covering Carrera S, Carrera 4S, GTS and Carrera 4 GTS models from 2017–2019. The system is designed to improve exhaust flow, increase performance and give the turbocharged flat-six engine a significantly more aggressive and emotional exhaust character.

The iPE system is individually engineered for the Porsche 991.2 chassis, with each component designed to achieve precise fitment and optimize the exhaust routing. Its Valvetronic design allows the driver to switch between an extremely loud and aggressive exhaust sound and a more comfortable cruising character simply at the push of a button.

At the performance level, iPE's published testing shows an increase of up to 31.5 HP at 6,500 rpm and 50.96 Nm of torque at 4,500 rpm. The redesigned exhaust system also reduces weight by 6.8 kg, making it approximately 27% lighter than the original exhaust system.

The Valvetronic Exhaust provides dynamic valve control, allowing the exhaust character to be adapted to different driving situations. With the valves opened, the system delivers a louder and more aggressive sound with increased exhaust flow, making it particularly suited to spirited driving. When quieter operation is preferred, the valves can be closed to create a more comfortable cruising experience.

The system is manufactured from Stainless Steel, providing a balance of strength, durability and weight for the Porsche 991.2 application. iPE states that its components are manufactured in-house and individually designed for the vehicle to ensure proper fitment and exhaust performance.

The standard system comes with Chrome Silver Exhaust Tips, while other finishes are available as value-added options. This allows the exhaust appearance to be matched with the styling specification of the Porsche 911.

For vehicles that are Porsche 991 Carrera or Carrera 4 rather than Carrera S, iPE notes that the rear diffuser must be upgraded to the Carrera S specification to accommodate the exhaust tailpipes. iPE does not supply the required diffuser kit, so this should be confirmed before ordering.

iPE also specifically requires customers to confirm whether the vehicle is equipped with an OPF system before placing an order. This is particularly important when selecting the correct exhaust configuration for individual 991.2 vehicles.
