iPE Porsche 911 Turbo Turbo S 991 Valvetronic Exhaust

iPE Porsche 911 Turbo / Turbo S (991 / 991.2) Exhaust System is a high-performance Valvetronic Exhaust System developed specifically for the Porsche 911 Turbo and Turbo S from the 991 generation, covering model years 2012–2019. The system is designed to enhance exhaust flow and transform the character of the twin-turbocharged flat-six engine with a cleaner, more aggressive and distinctly racing-inspired exhaust note.

At the heart of the system is iPE's Valvetronic Exhaust, which works together with the Remote Control Module to give the driver greater control over the exhaust character. The system can deliver an aggressive racing sound when desired while also allowing the exhaust character to be subdued for comfortable everyday driving. iPE specifically highlights its ability to reduce unwanted vibration and drone frequencies inside the cabin when quieter operation is required.

The exhaust system is individually engineered and handcrafted from T304 Stainless Steel for the standard version. iPE also offers a separate Titanium Exhaust System for the same Porsche 991 / 991.2 Turbo and Turbo S application, providing an option for customers who want to prioritize weight reduction and performance.

The Titanium version is particularly impressive from a weight-saving perspective. iPE states that the complete Titanium system weighs only 8.5 kg, compared with 18.03 kg for the OEM exhaust, resulting in a weight saving of 9.53 kg or approximately 52%. This substantial reduction helps lower the mass of the exhaust system while complementing the performance-focused character of the 911 Turbo and Turbo S.

According to iPE's published dyno testing for the Titanium system, the exhaust delivered an increase of 37.59 HP at 6,200 rpm and 15.09 Nm of torque at 3,800 rpm. These figures are specifically associated with the Titanium exhaust configuration and should not be presented as a guaranteed gain for every configuration or vehicle.

One of the defining characteristics of the iPE system is its F1-inspired exhaust sound. The system is engineered to produce a clean tone throughout the rev range, complementing the characteristics of the Porsche 991 / 991.2 Turbo and Turbo S while providing a more emotional and motorsport-oriented soundtrack than the factory exhaust.

The system is available with Chrome Silver Exhaust Tips as standard. Customers can select Titanium Blue, Carbon Fiber or Chrome Black Tips as optional finishes to further customize the rear appearance of the vehicle.

Importantly, iPE specifically asks customers to confirm whether the vehicle is equipped with an OPF system before ordering. This should therefore be verified according to the individual vehicle specification before selecting the exhaust configuration.
