Eventuri Audi RS4 / RS5 B8 Intake System is a high-performance carbon fiber intake system developed specifically for the Audi B8 RS4 and RS5, with the entire inlet path re-engineered to improve airflow from the front intake ducts through the filters and into the throttle bodies.
Unlike a conventional replacement air filter, Eventuri redesigned the complete intake architecture to address the airflow restrictions created by the factory airboxes. The OEM system uses relatively small rectangular filters that transition rapidly into circular intake tubes, creating turbulence and increasing resistance in the inlet path. Eventuri's system replaces this arrangement with a smoother and more aerodynamically efficient design.
At the heart of the system are two Carbon Fiber Venturi Housings, each surrounding a reverse-mounted High-Flow Double Cone Air Filter. The carbon housing progressively reduces the cross-sectional area from the large filter toward the intake tube. This creates the Venturi Effect, accelerating airflow while maintaining a smoother, more controlled flow profile.
Each filter housing also incorporates an Aluminium Cowl to provide a smooth transition for air entering the filter. The combination of the reverse-mounted filter, aluminium cowl and carbon Venturi housing effectively functions as a large velocity stack, helping reduce turbulence before the airflow enters the intake tube.
The system uses two Carbon Fiber Intake Ducts to channel ambient air from the front of the vehicle directly toward the filter housings. The ducts fit within the OEM ducting arrangement and transition smoothly into the circular shape of the Eventuri filter housings. Flexible rubber edging around the duct openings helps maintain a seal against engine-bay heat while allowing the filter housings to move with the engine.
At the front of the system, two Carbon Fiber Front Scoops collect ambient air and direct it into the intake ducts. Eventuri also includes Laser-Cut Stainless Steel Scoop Extension Plates to complete the air path and improve the connection between the front scoops and the factory air-entry area.
The Carbon Fiber Intake Tubes are manufactured from 100% Prepreg Carbon Fiber and feature integrated breather tube inserts CNC-machined from aluminium. Their smooth geometry minimizes sharp or sudden bends, creating a more continuous path for airflow as it travels toward the throttle bodies.
Eventuri also uses Laser-Cut Heat Shields with Heat Reflective Lining to help protect the intake components from heat generated within the engine bay. The use of Prepreg Carbon Fiber throughout the major intake components also helps minimize heat transfer into the incoming airflow.
The result is a complete dual-bank intake system engineered around the naturally aspirated 4.2 FSI V8 rather than simply replacing the factory filters. Eventuri reports a performance gain of 15–20 hp and 12–18 ft-lb at the wheels, with improvements in power and torque across a broad portion of the RPM range.
Eventuri's testing also showed particularly strong mid-range improvements on the B8 RS4, with approximately 25 ft-lb of additional torque in the mid-range and 25 hp gained before peak RPM in the published comparison. These results demonstrate the focus on improving overall airflow and throttle response rather than only chasing peak power.
