Eventuri Audi RS6 / RS7 C7 Intake System is a high-performance carbon fiber intake system developed specifically for the Audi C7 RS6 and RS7, with two primary objectives: reducing restriction in the turbocharger inlet paths and maintaining low intake temperatures.
Unlike a conventional cone filter and heat shield setup, Eventuri designed the system as a complete enclosed intake assembly. Each turbocharger is supplied by its own High-Flow Double Cone Air Filter and Carbon Venturi Stack, creating a dedicated and aerodynamically efficient airflow path from the filter to the turbocharger.
The Carbon Venturi Stacks are engineered with smooth curves and are matched to the internal diameter of the filter neck. This allows airflow to transition smoothly from the filter into the turbo tubes while helping maintain a more laminar airflow profile. Eventuri designed this configuration to reduce drag on the turbochargers and allow them to generate boost more efficiently.
At the center of the system is a fully enclosed Carbon Fiber Airbox. The airbox shields both filters from multiple heat sources within the C7 RS6/RS7 engine bay, including heat generated by the engine and turbochargers, as well as heat from the heat exchanger and airflow from the radiator fan.
Eventuri specifically notes that a simple open-filter and heat-shield configuration was tested during development and resulted in significantly higher inlet temperatures. The enclosed carbon airbox was therefore designed to provide a much more effective thermal barrier around the filters.
The system also features a redesigned Carbon Fiber Inlet Duct with a larger internal volume than the OEM duct. This duct supplies ambient air from the front grille directly into the enclosed airbox, helping maintain lower intake temperatures during both road and high-load driving.
At the front of the system, a dedicated Carbon Fiber Air Scoop sits behind the front grille and helps force ambient air into the intake duct while the vehicle is moving. Its curved design guides the incoming airflow efficiently into the system. Eventuri notes that this also allows the airbox temperature to recover more quickly after the vehicle has been stationary and experienced heat soak.
A Laser-Cut Heat Shield with Gold Reflective Finish provides an additional thermal barrier between the carbon airbox and the turbocharger area. Since the airbox sits directly in the path of heat radiated from the turbochargers, the shield helps protect the intake from heat soak when the engine is operating under load.
Eventuri's dyno testing showed approximately 15–19 hp and 13–17 ft-lb of additional output. The company also conducted back-to-back road testing using a V-Box, recording an improvement in 60–130 mph acceleration from 9.674 seconds to 9.274 seconds, a reduction of 0.4 seconds. The 100–200 km/h result improved from 8.420 seconds to 8.078 seconds.
The complete system combines two High-Flow Double Cone Air Filters, two Carbon Venturi Stacks with integrated tubes, Carbon Fiber Airbox Enclosure, Carbon Fiber Inlet Duct, Carbon Fiber Front Scoop, Gold Reflective Heat Shield, stainless steel brackets and CNC-machined airbox mounts into a single engineered intake system.
