Eventuri Audi RS6 RS7 C8 Intake System

Eventuri Audi RS6 / RS7 C8 Intake System is a complete high-performance intake system developed specifically for the Audi C8 RS6 and RS7, with a focus on two key objectives: maximizing airflow and maintaining a smooth airflow path to the twin turbochargers.

Eventuri completely redesigned the factory airbox to make better use of the extremely limited space within the C8 engine bay. The new design increases the overall airbox volume, enlarges the air entry openings and positions the filter at a more favorable angle toward the turbo inlets. This replaces the more abrupt 90-degree airflow transition of the OEM system with a smoother path toward the turbochargers.

At the center of the system is a Carbon Fiber Airbox consisting of a redesigned lower section and carbon fiber lid. The lower airbox incorporates the slam panel and increases the available internal volume, allowing the system to support a significantly higher airflow rate while maintaining a sealed intake configuration.

Eventuri developed a bespoke BMC panel filter specifically for the system. The filter provides a large filtration area while maintaining clean and unrestricted airflow into the redesigned airbox.

One of the most significant changes is the Enlarged Turbo Inlets, which increase the cross-sectional area at the airbox side by as much as 85% compared with the OEM inlets. The inlets then smoothly taper down toward the factory turbochargers. This larger inlet volume reduces restriction and helps the turbochargers operate more efficiently.

For additional structural strength, Eventuri incorporates CNC-machined reinforcement bushes and rings into the turbo inlet assemblies. Custom EPDM couplers connect the turbo inlets to the airbox while allowing for engine movement and maintaining a smooth airflow transition.

The overall airflow improvement is significant. In Eventuri's controlled SuperFlow SF-1020 flow-bench testing at 28 inH₂O, the complete Eventuri airbox and turbo inlet system achieved a 90% increase in flow rate over the OEM system. Testing of the turbo inlets alone showed a 58% increase in flow rate.

The performance advantage becomes increasingly noticeable as the turbochargers are required to move more air. Eventuri reports gains of 15–25 hp and 11–20 ft-lb on the stock ECU, increasing to 45–50 hp and 40–45 ft-lb with Stage 1, and 60–80 hp and 60–70 ft-lb with Stage 2. Eventuri notes that results can vary depending on the ECU calibration and vehicle setup.

Road testing also demonstrated a measurable improvement. On a Stage 1 RS6, Eventuri recorded a reduction in 100–200 km/h acceleration from 7.46 seconds with the OEM airbox to 6.90 seconds with the Eventuri intake. Quarter-mile testing improved from 11.2 seconds at 126 mph to 10.75 seconds at 129 mph.

The complete system is therefore more than a replacement air filter or carbon airbox. It combines a redesigned Carbon Fiber Airbox, bespoke BMC panel filter and enlarged Turbo Inlets to create a significantly less restrictive airflow path for the C8's twin-turbo V8.
