Alcon CAR2349H43/B43 Calipers are 4-piston radial-mount monobloc brake calipers developed for World RX applications, representing Alcon's motorsport-focused approach to high-performance braking.
The calipers feature a billet aluminium monobloc construction with a hard-anodised finish, providing a rigid and lightweight foundation for demanding motorsport applications. The monobloc design is engineered to maintain caliper stiffness under heavy braking, supporting consistent brake response and precise pedal control.
The CAR2349H43/B43 is available with two different piston configurations. The H43 version uses 38.1 / 41.3 mm front piston diameters, while the B43 version uses 31.8 / 31.8 mm piston diameters. Both configurations use titanium low-friction-coated pistons.
Additional motorsport-focused features include internally drilled calipers and recessed bleed screws, supporting the requirements of high-performance racing applications.
The calipers are designed for brake discs with a 300–355 mm diameter range and 22–26 mm thickness, with a 3/8-24 UNF fluid inlet. Dry weight is approximately 1.7 kg per caliper excluding brake pads.
Alcon specifies pad reference 4423 for this caliper family, with the applicable pad configuration depending on the exact setup. The calipers are also available in different left/right and leading/trailing configurations to suit the intended installation.
With its motorsport-derived construction and World RX application, the Alcon CAR2349H43/B43 is designed for serious competition use where braking consistency, stiffness and weight are critical considerations.
