Fabspeed Acura NSX TT/Type S Race Performance Package

Fabspeed Acura NSX TT / Type S Race Performance Package is a track-focused performance package developed for the 2017–2022 Acura NSX Twin-Turbo and Type S. The package combines Cat Bypass Pipes / Downtubes, Fabspeed Maxflo Catback Exhaust and BMC F1 Replacement Air Filters.

Unlike Fabspeed's Sport Performance Package, this Race Package uses Cat Bypass Pipes that remove the four OEM ceramic catalytic converters. The straight-through design is intended to maximize exhaust flow and minimize back pressure for dedicated track and race applications.

The Cat Bypass Pipes are manufactured from T304 stainless-steel mandrel-bent tubing with 321 stainless-steel flex bellows, along with provisions for the factory primary catalyst heat shielding and secondary catalyst bypass shielding.

The package also includes a CNC mandrel-bent Fabspeed Maxflo Rear Exhaust with quad exhaust tips, available in Satin Black or Polished Stainless Steel. The system is designed to create a more aggressive sports-car character with prominent turbo spool and turbo sound.

BMC F1 Replacement Air Filters complete the package by replacing the OEM filters while retaining the factory airbox. The washable, reusable BMC filters are designed to improve airflow while maintaining high filtration efficiency.

The package is precision engineered and manufactured in the USA using HAAS CNC, FLOW Waterjet and stainless-steel fabrication processes. Hardware and gaskets are included for installation, with provisions to retain the factory heat-shielding components.

The Race Performance Package is designed as a direct replacement bolt-on system, but installation requires removal of the OEM catalytic converters and associated exhaust components. It should therefore be installed by a qualified technician familiar with the Acura NSX.

Because the package removes the OEM catalytic converters, Fabspeed specifies this product for closed-track events and off-road use only. It is not CARB or EPA certified, and the removal of the catalytic converters can trigger check-engine faults on OBD2-equipped vehicles.
