CSF #8075 Front Mount Heat Exchanger is a high-performance cooling upgrade for the BMW F80 M3 and F82/F83 M4 with the S55 3.0L turbocharged engine, designed to improve the cooling capacity of the charge-air cooling circuit during demanding driving.

The system features a 2-row 42mm Dual Core incorporating CSF's exclusive B-Tube Technology. Its Dual-Pass flow structure routes coolant across the core twice before exiting, helping achieve a lower outlet coolant temperature and improve heat dissipation.

For the current 2026 specification, CSF has updated the cooler with Track-Spec 5mm-tall ultra-efficient fins featuring a multi-louvered design to increase surface-area contact and heat dissipation.

The unit uses CNC-machined OEM-style Quick-Connect inlet/outlet connections, mounting brackets and fittings, allowing the original cooling-system components to be retained. A removable aluminum Rock Guard is included to help protect the heat exchanger from road debris.

The CSF #8075 is engineered as a true Drop-In Fit, using the OEM Quick-Connect hoses, mounting brackets, X-Brace and factory air ducting/shrouding. No vehicle modifications are required for installation.

CSF identifies heat soak as a significant limitation of the factory S55 cooling system under repeated dyno pulls and prolonged track driving. The Front Mount Heat Exchanger is designed to work together with the CSF Top Mount Charge-Air-Cooler to improve the overall charge-air cooling system.

The CSF #8075 is finished in polished aluminum, while CSF #8075V offers a Satin Black finish for a more OEM+ appearance. Both versions use the same core and cooling-system design.

Applications include the BMW F80 M3 (2015–2018) and BMW F82/F83 M4 (2015–2020). CSF also lists the same heat exchanger for the F87 M2 and BMW i8, so vehicle-specific compatibility should be confirmed before installation.
