CSF BMW F8X M3/M4 DCT High-Performance Transmission Cooler

CSF #8081 DCT High-Performance Transmission Cooler is a dedicated transmission cooling upgrade for the BMW F80 M3 and F82/F83 M4 with the S55 engine and DCT transmission, developed to improve thermal management during demanding street and track driving.

The cooler features a Dual-Pass High-Performance Core with 10 cooling tubes, replacing the OEM Single-Pass design with a 6-tube return-pipe configuration. This redesigned flow path increases the cooler's ability to transfer heat from the DCT fluid.

CSF uses its AC Condenser Technology with a 1-row, high-pressure 26mm Multi-Channel Microtube and a High-Density Multi-Louvered Fin Design to maximize heat-transfer efficiency within the available space.

According to CSF laboratory testing, the #8081 provides approximately 30% greater cooling efficiency than the OEM cooler. This additional thermal capacity is particularly relevant for vehicles subjected to sustained high-load driving, track use or increased performance.

The cooler is engineered as a Drop-In Fit, retaining the OEM oil-line connections, mounting brackets and factory shroud/ducting. It can be installed without vehicle modifications, providing a direct upgrade to the factory DCT cooling system.

CSF describes the #8081 as a true Plug-and-Play upgraded DCT Transmission Cooler for the BMW S55-powered F80 M3, F82/F83 M4 and F87 M2 Competition. The product replaces OEM transmission cooler part number 17112284503.
