BILSTEIN B16 Adjustable Performance Coilover Kit

BILSTEIN B16 is a high-performance height-adjustable coilover suspension designed for drivers who want greater control over both vehicle ride height and damper characteristics. It is developed for sporty road driving and demanding track use.

Unlike the BILSTEIN B14, which provides height adjustment only, the B16 adds manual damping adjustment, allowing the driver to fine-tune rebound and bump control through a 10-click adjustment system.

The damping adjustment is designed to change the driving character according to personal preference and driving conditions. Softer settings can provide a more comfort-oriented character, while firmer settings can deliver a more controlled and sporty response.

BILSTEIN develops B16 applications through extensive vehicle testing to optimize damping characteristics for each specific chassis. The result is designed to provide precise suspension response, improved stability and controlled body movement during cornering, braking and acceleration.

The threaded height-adjustable design allows the vehicle’s ride height to be individually adjusted within the tested range specified for each application. BILSTEIN states that its performance suspension systems can offer lowering of up to 50 mm, although the actual approved range varies by vehicle application.

The B16 features BILSTEIN performance damper technology and, depending on the application, may use monotube and Upside-Down technology. Construction details and adjustment ranges vary according to the specific kit.
